I was looking at my vanity the other day, and I realized literally everything about it was thrifted or found in an antique store! The dresser itself, the mirror, the trays, and beautiful glassware were all collected by thrifting. I absolutely love the old Hollywood glam look, especially when it comes to your dressing room / vanity area. I love the vintage vanity accessories you can find by thrifting, and it’s a great way to find unique items to glam up your vanity inexpensively. Today I’m sharing 5 thrift finds for a fabulous vanity.

Like I said, nearly everything on my vanity is thrifted, except for the crystals and candles and jewelry I keep on it. This isn’t technically my “vanity” – this is a tall dresser as you walk into my bedroom, and it holds some essentials I like to keep for easy access and some pretty things I like to display. I have a vanity in my other room where I do makeup and get ready, and I’ll be sharing that in another post soon because that was thrifted as well.
Mirrors
I found this beautiful ornate mirror at a thrift store for $15. What a steal! I’m always on the lookout for ornate antique-looking mirrors. It’s kind of my obsession.

I also found this beautiful vintage hand mirror. (Actually, my husband did. He came up to me with it while we were thriting and said “I think you need this.” Yep, he knows me so well. lol) I think they look so pretty sitting out for display. This was $2!

Beautiful Trays
I recently found this gorgeous gold floral design tray and it’s perfect for holding all your pretty accoutrements. Trays are another obsession of mine… I mean you really can’t have too many, right?

The “Follow Your Bliss” matchsticks are so glam, and you can find them at Blissful Living Co. Obsessed!

I always have a ring holder or catch-all on my tray. These quartz crystal jewelry dishes are available in my Shop.

Glassware
You can often find pretty glass bowls and dishes for a few dollars at most thrift stores. I love how they look to store makeup and jewelry. They’re such an elegant touch to a vanity.

I used this bowl to store my essential oil collection.
The glass vase is so pretty. I believe this was $2.50. I love the little tiny ones too to add a few stems or flowers in.

I keep my rose quartz roller, some crystals and jewelry in this one.
Vanity Table
So this is technically a tall dresser, but I do have a thrifted vanity table in my other room (It was actually a desk that I painted). This dresser was around $30 I believe, and I gave it a coat of black paint. Now I just need to find some glam hardware for it.

I recommend searching the thrift or secondhand stores for a vanity table. You can easily find a desk that just needs a fresh coat of paint and can easily be transformed. Here’s one I did:

Trinkets
I found the gold rimmed shot glass and decided to use it to hold all my perfume samples. These are also cute to put matches in. Using your imagination, you can find endless little trinkets to use for your vanity. I am on the hunt for vintage glass perfume bottles. I sometimes see them while thrifting or antiquing. Another really cute idea is to find pretty teacups and saucers to hold jewelry or makeup. There’s usually tons of cute teacups at thrift stores.
